Hello Coworkers!

We’re excited to share a few updates on features that we’ve added to Optix. We look forward to working with you, our venue partners, on building features that will make it even easier to manage coworking spaces and shared workspace communities. See below a list of the Optix features we’ve added.

1. White-label Member Portal

All Optix venues now get a snazzy Member Portal, customized with your own login page, venue name, logo, and a feature backdrop of your space.

Your members will love how easy it is to book spaces, check-in, and manage their invoices and memberships. We also have an inkling that your members will enjoy Coffee Chat – a new social feature that allows them to connect and collaborate with other members in your community.

Did we mention that you pick your subdomain? Simply provide us with a subdomain of your choice, and you’ll have a custom subdomain to share with all of your current members and community!

2. Team Accounts

We know that coworking spaces are used by individuals and teams. With Optix you can now group members of your community into Team accounts.  Teams can accept membership plans, and have assigned managers. Also, members within a  team can share plan usage and access privileges. Optix will automatically track how teams are using space and services and update their invoice.

Each month a single invoice is raised for the team, meaning less admin for you and the teams that are working in your space. Huzzah!

Setting up teams is a breeze. Direct the team manager to the new Team tab of their user profile page to get set up. Once they’ve done that, you will be able to add them as a team from the Members tab of your Venue Dashboard.

3. Stripe Integration

The way that people and companies pay for services is changing. Stripe helps make online payments simple. Many coworking spaces today use Stripe to accept payments for memberships and services.

So, we listened.

Result? We recently integrated with Stripe to make it even easier than ever for your members to pay their fees and services. With Stripe members can pay from anywhere, and you can easily arrange recurring monthly membership fees. You can set your preferences with Optix and receive payments automatically with Stripe.

Like all our other new Optix features, the Stripe Integration means less admin and more delight when it comes to running your coworking space.
